I'm very passionate about cooking, and while I'm not comfortable cooking in a restaurant setting I do enjoy cooking for myself and my friends and family and potlucks. I spent a good while trying to find the best mac n cheese recipe base to modify in to the loaded nutmeg mac n cheese I envisioned. I cooked many variations of plain mac n cheese until I found the right one, which can be found here:
And then I added my own extra ingredients, the bacon, tomatoes, nutmeg, onions, and garlic powder. Plus the optional additions of cayenne pepper and mushrooms.
Once I found the base I had to modify it multiple times in order to get the right amount of nutmeg figured out.
This is absolutely delicious and I hope any cooks out there reading this comic try it out. If you do make some, please let me know what you think in the comments!

If anyone's interested in seeing more of my cooking, I have a photos and cooking exclusive account on Furaffinity that is entirely safe for work and available to even non members of the site. It ranges from lemonade to sandwiches to soups and sushi and all sorts of interesting things, and I always share the recipes for them whether I found them or created them myself.

Chemistry Magic version: cheese, butter, Sodium Citrate and Sodium Metahexaphosphate. Makes incredibly smooth, creamy sauce without making a Bechamel.

I used to love cooking... then I started cooking for a living in an institutional setting where everything comes down to the 1/4th of a penny cost deviance.
Still, I want to try this, and I have quite a few of the ingredients on hand (I did used to cook for fun and enjoyment).
